OUR SCHOOL!
Roots to Heritage
As part of our National Lottery Heritage Funded project, Year 4 pupils have been interviewing ex-pupils about their memories of childhood and going to school.
Rosalie Davies began school in 1941. She went all the way through to secondary school. The secondary school was on this site until the 1960s, when a brand new school, Caerleon County Secondary Modern School (now called Caerleon Comprehensive) opened in 1964. Here, Rosalie describes her memories of lessons in the Domestic part of the Manual & Domestic Building we are standing in.
